Hi all,

Here are some FAQs that we have been receiving surrounding the launch:

What’s the difference between the different servers?
You can now play on multiple servers, but the marketplace is the same on all of them. This means: You can bid on a card from Player A playing on Server A, when you are playing on Server B (or any other server).

I was a beta tester. How can I get my Fire Dancer?
All beta players get their Firedancer card. To get it, you must redeem your full product key on the same EA Account you played the beta with. Eg. you played the beta on the EA Account battleforgebetaplayer@hotmail.com, you have to play with the same mail address to get the special, upgraded Firedancer.
You'll find the Firedancer card in the card collection of your first character then.

Can I keep my character name from the Beta?
Beta players: You can use your same character names on your EA Account. Eg. you had a character name "Tiphon" on your beta account, only that EA Account can take that name again. No other EA Account has the right to use the character names associated with your beta EA Account. If you unlock the game through the demo, the character name from the demo will be your primary character in the full version.

Where can I download the client?

You can download the client here. We suggest that you uninstall the previous version before running the .exe file. If you unlock the game through the demo, the character name from the demo will be your primary character in the full version.


Note that this is the demo version of BattleForge, but you can unlock the entire content of the game by entering a retail code.

I preordered BattleForge. How can I get my exclusive cards?
If you have received any promotional codes for cards for preorders, you can redeem them by entering the code at the in-game marketplace. Note: These cards won't be added to your collection automatically, you have to collect them in your in-game mailbox.

I want BattleForge points where can I buy them?
You can buy BattleForge points on the official website. They will then be available to you in-game.

Can I change the language of the game?
If you want to change the in-game language, please open the settings.ini in the install directory and change the language variable. You can change the language to "en", "de", "ru" or "fr".

How do the demo and full version of the game differ?
In the demo version, you will receive one of the four theme deck with which you can play wither Encounters with Twilight, Siege of Hope, Bad Harvest or Crusade. In the demo version you cannot trade or upgrade your cards. Any map progress made in the demo version will be saved and will carry over if you upgrade your account to the full version.
