Are you kidding? Can someone explain to me why this card is on the watch list? It costs 3 nature and 350 power for Pete's sake!
Maybe in PvE it's OP, but definitely not PvP. **EDIT: Oh okay, the upgrades take it's cost down. Still crap in PvP. Last edited by Khaztr; 22.07.2009 at 16:44. |

its not OP in PvE either. They should just make things like Raven Ships immune to it, like they did with Twilight Dragons. I'm surprised this card is on the watchlist.

Okay this is....well I wont say it...but I really can think of 3 cards that should get a watchlist instead of this.
@topic: Mindcontrol in PvE is fine even though it is sometimes possible to control units which are normally hard encounters but with mc just a joke: Commandwalker if he respawns in the topp right corner, Map: Mo Twilight Dragon, only sometimes its a bit weird Gem Eye, Map: Bad Harvest Expert PvP: Just theoretical since PvP never reaches a serious T4 match Elendil and I once did a test, how PvP would look at T4. We both took in similar cards (without talking about it before of course). Besides from Collossus, Necrofury and Grimvine we both took Mind Control. It ended in just waiting for the enemy to spawn a strong unit so we can controll it. The reason why controlling the unit is better: You dont bind power in the unit anymore. The power goes into the void right after casting (afaik) so you got one unit more than your enemy and a full void. In the end it doesnt seem op to me. Dont know the point of a watchlist to be honest.

The question is:
Is Mind Control on the watchlist because it it over- or underpowered? I rarly see it in play in PvE and with the nerf that you can no longer take control of a Twilight Dragon it got even worse. Is it really played in PvP? If you would ask me how to fix the card: Make it a lot cheaper, but give control for a fixed period of time. |

i think the card values are okay for pve and pvp. as mentioned mind control in pvp matches are very rare. this cards needs neither buff nor nerf. just let it be. there are other cards which need to be looked at.
